The Sugar House Park Authority has three days or 72 hours after your event to notify you if a security deposit will not be returned due to damages or non-compliance with the rental agreement.
Half-day rentals are available Monday through Thursday. The morning rental is 8 am to 4 pm, and the evening rental is 5 pm to 10 pm. Contact us for rental durations of 2-4 hours Monday through Thursday between 8 am to 5 pm. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are rented at full days only.

Yes, music or sound amplification is allowed. Renters must comply with Salt Lake City's noise ordinance, which prohibits loud noise at night from 10 pm to 7 am and sets limits for extremely loud noise during the day.
The Garden Center has dedicated accessible parking and a ramped entrance. The interior is one level with no other steps or rises.
Yes, you are welcome to bring in any additional furniture you want or need for your event. All renter belongings must be removed from the premise before the end of your rental reservation.

The venue features two large main rooms.

A double-sided gas fireplace separates these rooms.
For a sit-down dinner, the maximum is 162-180, depending on your arrangement. For a free-flowing, open-house-style event, it can accommodate up to 300 people.
No, there is no dressing room; however, there are restrooms available.
The security deposit is required for all rental types and fully refunded within seven (7) business days of your event if the Rental Agreement is followed and no damage occurs.
You may choose from our vendor list or choose any caterer for your event. The caterer may not come in earlier than your scheduled time.
Decorations are allowed on and inside the building. The following items cannot be to hang decorations because they cause damage:

We recommend zip ties, rope, fishing line, or wire. If you plan to use tape, it must be painter's tape.
Open flames, sparklers, and other live-flame products, including fireworks, are not allowed. Alternatives include battery-operated candles or other battery-operated products.
Signs must be political/yard-sign style or self-standing, like A-frames. No staking in the grass.
